Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Yong An Chia, the individual developer who runs TotaLive ("we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Not medical advice
TotaLive is a tracking tool, not a medical service. Calorie targets, macronutrient figures and other information in the app are general estimates and are not medical, dietary or health advice. Talk to a doctor or qualified health professional before changing your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Who can use TotaLive
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. Please give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Food information
Food data comes from public sources such as USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts, from coaches and from users. We work to keep it accurate, but nutrition figures can be wrong or out of date, so check the label when it matters.
Coaches and clients
A coach can invite you to connect with a coach code. Once you connect, your coach can see and edit your diary, goals and health details. You can disconnect at any time. Coaching arrangements, including any fees or advice, are between you and your coach. TotaLive is not part of them and is not responsible for a coach's advice.
If you coach on TotaLive, you agree to use your clients' data only to coach them, to keep it confidential, and to follow the data protection laws that apply to you.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse TotaLive. For example, don't try to reach other people's data, interfere with the service, upload anything unlawful or harmful, or use the app to harass anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Your content
What you log stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the app to you and to anyone you choose to connect with. Foods you share with your clients can be seen by those clients.
Price and changes
TotaLive is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we'll tell you first, and anything paid will go through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase. We may change or stop parts of the service. If we change these terms in an important way, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. Deletion is permanent and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our responsibility
We provide TotaLive "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the Singapore courts can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere, you also keep any protections your local consumer law gives you.
App stores
If you downloaded TotaLive from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. The same applies to Google if you downloaded TotaLive from Google Play.
